Tuesday, 19:44. Tower

Few Guardians have challenged Ahamkara and lived to tell the tale; fewer still have anything to show for their efforts.

A new Guardian-led support group aims to comfort those who have risked their lives on the most dangerous of missions, time and time again, to return with only Legendary Shards and Gunsmith Materials.

“It can be traumatic,” said founder Dan Deck, a Titan who has pushed back Fallen incursions at Vault Ebisu over 70 times. “Saving the City and preserving humanity is our primary concern, of course, but we’re still people. The desire to be rewarded for our efforts is valid, and when you walk away from a life-or-death battle for the fate of mankind with nothing but a hat that holds extra scout rifle ammo, it can get to you.”

One Warlock who wished to remain anonymous shared her story at the inaugural meeting. “My friends and I, we all took down Riven together. When the dust cleared, our brand new fireteam member was holding a magic wish-powered laser cannon. I got a bracelet.” The Guardian pointed to one of six identical bonds on her left arm and broke down in tears. Her fellow support group offered words of encouragement, orange juice, and cookies shaped like Anarchy.

The Raid Exotic Support Group meets every Tuesday at 19:00 in the Tower Hanger. “We want to encourage everyone who’s never gotten a raid exotic to join us,” said Dan. He later clarified that those who had acquired Tarrabah were still welcome to attend.
