A Warlock returned to the Tower this morning and attracted a crowd immediately after transmat. The gathering circled around the prostrate Guardian as his sobs echoed through the courtyard. It was soon obvious to the group that the Warlock was cradling a well-worn Mountaintop, but no Recluse accompanied it. Consoled by the comforting words of the crowd, the Warlock lifted his head and thanked the them for their kind words. After gathering himself, he left the area.
Later, we contacted him for a comment and to make sure he was alright after the traumatic event. "I'm doing much better now, thank you," he said. "It's been a hard day, but I know that I am stronger than to let this beat me."
When the Warlock arrived home, he found his cherished SMG where he left it--safe and sound in his bedroom.
